Rachel's Story and Background

Hi, I'm Rachel

As an experienced Marketeer and Senior Leader, I have always been passionate about personal and professional growth. I love working with individuals and teams to achieve results.

I thrive off supporting others and I want to make a positive difference by using my experience and learnings in Marketing and Coaching.

Communicating and engaging with people has always been important to me. I studied Spanish language and literature at University in Leeds before settling back in my home town of Leamington Spa.

I started a temporary role as a Marketing PA and fell in love with all things Marketing, quickly moving into a Marketing Exec role and then completing my CIM Postgraduate Diploma.

I am proud to have progressed in my career from Marketing PA through to Marketing Director whilst raising a family. I am fortunate to be Mum to 2 lovely children and I enjoy supporting and encouraging others with care giving responsibilities to believe that they can continue to flourish at work.

Why 'Hyping Fox'?

When I decided to start working for myself, I started an ideas board for the family to add their suggestions for my company name. My 8 year old actually came up with the name ‘Hyping Fox’. He didn’t know what hyping meant but I thought it was perfect!

Hyping someone means to give someone energy. The verb ‘hype’ is defined as promoting a product or service intensively.

Foxes are curious and highly intelligent animals. They use all of their senses to perceive the world around them. Albert Mehrabian’s Communication Model suggests that our tone and body language convey our thoughts and feelings far more than the actual words we say.

For marketing and coaching excellence we need to be in tune with all of our senses to communicate as effectively as possible. I think Hyping Fox unites my 2 specialisms wonderfully – so much to my son’s delight, Hyping Fox was born.
